GRESB Foundation

GRESB Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit Dutch stichting established in 2021 to own and govern the GRESB Standards used in global ESG assessments of real estate and infrastructure assets. It operates within the broader GRESB structure, where a separate entity, GRESB BV, applies these standards in annual assessments and benchmarks. The Foundation develops, maintains, and updates the standards through an industry-led governance model involving investors, asset managers, and partners. These standards provide a consistent framework for evaluating sustainability performance across portfolios, supporting benchmarking, disclosure, and investment decision-making in global capital markets.
