Global Standard gGmbH

Global Standard gGmbH is a non-profit organization established in 2008 to develop, manage, and implement the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Formed by four international bodies, it operates as the legal entity responsible for maintaining the standard and its certification system. The organization oversees standard revisions, accredits certification bodies, and manages labeling and quality assurance across global textile supply chains.
