Federal Department of Finance (FDF)

The Federal Department of Finance, or FDF, is one of the seven departments of Switzerland's Federal Administration. It is responsible for federal finances, fiscal policy, taxation, customs, and several cross-government administrative functions. The department manages issues connected with Switzerland's federal budget and financial policy, including government revenues and expenditure. Its responsibilities also extend to tax and customs collection, border-related functions and services supporting the wider Federal Administration, including information technology, human resources, buildings and logistics.
