Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA)

The Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) is an independent environmental campaigning organization that investigates environmental crime and advocates for policy and regulatory change. Its work covers climate, forests, wildlife, oceans and plastic pollution. EIA uses investigations, research and evidence gathering to examine issues including illegal wildlife trade, deforestation, refrigerant gases and plastic waste. Founded in 1984, the organization operates internationally and has offices in London and Washington, D.C.
