Antora Energy

Antora Energy develops thermal battery technology designed to turn low-cost electricity into continuously available industrial heat and power. Its systems store energy by heating solid carbon blocks to extremely high temperatures, with the stored energy subsequently supplied directly as process heat or converted back into electricity. Founded in 2018, Antora targets energy-intensive industries, data centres and grid applications where long-duration storage can complement variable renewable generation. The company manufactures its thermal batteries in California and is expanding commercial deployment in the United States. In 2026, Antora raised $550 million in Series C financing to increase manufacturing capacity, develop additional projects and strengthen its domestic supply chain.
