DTE Gas

DTE Gas is a regulated natural gas utility and an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of DTE Energy. It purchases, stores, transports, distributes and sells natural gas to approximately 1.4 million customers across Michigan. Its activities include operating underground storage and maintaining gas delivery infrastructure. The company’s modernization work includes replacing aging pipelines to improve safety, reliability and leak prevention. Its historical roots date to the City of Detroit Gas Company, established in 1849.
