Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS)

PETRONAS is Malaysia's national oil and gas company and a global integrated energy group. Established in 1974, the company is wholly owned by the Malaysian government and manages Malaysia's hydrocarbon resources. Its activities span upstream oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, petroleum products, and increasingly lower-carbon energy solutions. PETRONAS operates internationally and has set an ambition to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. It is also investing in areas including renewable energy, hydrogen, carbon capture and other technologies intended to support the energy transition.
