District of Saanich

The District of Saanich is a municipal government in British Columbia, Canada, responsible for governing the province's largest district municipality by population. Led by an elected Mayor and eight-member Council, it exercises powers under British Columbia's Community Charter and Local Government Act to adopt bylaws, establish policies, approve budgets, levy taxes, and deliver municipal services for more than 114,000 residents.
