CEFLEX (Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging)

CEFLEX is a European, industry-led collaborative initiative launched in 2017, bringing together over 180 companies, associations, and organisations across the flexible packaging value chain. Participants include material producers, converters, brand owners, recyclers, and waste management actors working toward shared circular economy objectives. The initiative focuses on industry alignment, technical analysis, and system-level solutions to improve the design, collection, sorting, and recycling of flexible packaging. Its outputs include the Designing for a Circular Economy (D4ACE) guidelines.
