BP Ventures

BP Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of BP, investing in private technology companies with potential strategic relevance to the energy sector. Established in 2006, the venture unit has invested across areas including low-carbon technologies, advanced mobility, carbon management, power and energy storage, digital technologies and other emerging energy solutions. BP Ventures operates internationally and seeks both financial returns and strategic opportunities to deploy technologies across BP's businesses. It has also invested in Xpansiv, giving BP exposure to environmental and energy market infrastructure.
