BIOEAST University Network (BIOEAST UniNet)

BIOEAST UniNet is a network of universities established under the BIOEAST initiative to support bioeconomy education and research in Central and Eastern Europe. It encourages interdisciplinary education, industry collaboration, lifelong learning and cooperation between member institutions. The network was launched when six universities signed a memorandum of understanding in Prague in December 2022. It operates through collaborative governance and a rotating presidency. BIOSPARK builds on the network to strengthen European bioeconomy education and extend participation across countries with differing research and innovation capacities.
