Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)

The Better Cotton Initiative, or BCI, is a global nonprofit organization that operates the Better Cotton Standard System for more sustainable cotton production and supply-chain claims. Its system includes producer requirements through the Better Cotton Principles and Criteria, third-party certification, chain-of-custody requirements and rules for product and brand claims. Better Cotton is increasingly focused on certified and traceable BCI Cotton for product-level labeling.
