Summary
ACI EUROPE is the European regional association of Airports Council International, representing more than 600 airports across 55 countries and over 95% of Europe's commercial air traffic. Based in Brussels, it represents airport operators on policy, operational, safety, economic and environmental matters while providing industry research, guidance and collaboration. ACI EUROPE developed and launched Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) in 2009 and continues to manage the programme globally on behalf of ACI. ACA provides airports with an independently verified framework for measuring, managing and reducing carbon emissions through progressively demanding accreditation levels.
