ICOS Science Conference 2026

Held under the theme Science, Data, Services: Together for Climate Action, the ICOS Science Conference 2026 provides an international forum for sharing the latest research on greenhouse gas observations and the global carbon cycle. The conference aims to strengthen collaboration across the scientific community while highlighting how long-term observations and open data can support climate research, policy development, and mitigation efforts. The programme will include plenary presentations, oral and poster sessions, interdisciplinary discussions, a vendor exhibition, networking events, and optional excursions to ICOS observation stations. Scientific sessions span ICOS's three core domains—atmosphere, ecosystems, and oceans—while also addressing broader topics such as climate services, science communication, research infrastructure cooperation, urban greenhouse gas emissions, methane, carbon sinks, climate extremes, and advances in monitoring technologies.
