Overview
Hosted by the OECD as a hybrid event, the 2026 edition of the OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector offers a neutral space to compare risk-based due diligence approaches and support alignment across policies and industry initiatives. Discussions are anchored in the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains in the Garment and Footwear Sector. Virtual side sessions run on 9, 10 and 13 February.
Key Sessions
The programme combines plenaries, deep-dives and partner sessions focused on practical implementation, including:
Supply chains 4.0: how e-commerce and demand-driven “ultra fast fashion” models reshape sourcing, supplier relationships and regulatory expectations.
Decarbonisation: financing instruments and policy approaches to scale low-carbon technologies, and the role of brands in mobilising investment.
Human rights risks: sessions on child labour, forced labour and labour recruitment, plus protecting worker voice and remedy.
Transparency and circularity: closing the traceability–due diligence gap and applying due diligence to used textile flows.
Alongside the main sessions, the agenda includes networking breakfasts for policymakers and a manufacturers’ network meeting.
Registration and Participation
Registration is open via the official Forum website, with hybrid participation available for in-person attendees in Paris and online participants worldwide. The agenda and side-session schedule are hosted on the OECD events platform, and Forum session replays from 2025 are also available to registered users.
