On November 5, 2024, Normative, a leading carbon accounting platform, announced its acquisition of Copenhagen-based Eivee, a software provider specializing in carbon emissions tracking. The move is expected to significantly enhance Normative’s service offerings and strengthen its foothold in the European sustainability market.
Eivee, established in 2020, provides tools for businesses to monitor their CO₂ emissions across all three scopes, helping them achieve compliance with environmental regulations and meet sustainability goals. By integrating Eivee’s capabilities, Normative plans to deliver a comprehensive solution that spans carbon accounting, emissions reduction, and regulatory adherence.
Normative CEO Kristian Rönn revealed that the company has already begun collaborating with Eivee’s existing customer base, which includes some of Denmark’s largest corporations. “This partnership ensures a smooth transition for Eivee’s clients and provides a robust platform for new customers across Europe,” Rönn said, according to Normative’s official announcement.
This acquisition highlights Normative’s commitment to supporting businesses in managing their environmental impact, aligning with increasing regulatory demands and market expectations for sustainability.
