Ruminati VISION is built around a producer-controlled data-sharing model. Producers retain control over their emissions data and can securely share it with supply chain partners, allowing downstream organizations to access aggregated, consent-based emissions information instead of relying on generic emissions factors. Its core capabilities include:

• Scope 3 Agricultural Emissions Dashboard: Aggregates emissions data from participating farms into a single dashboard, showing total emissions, emissions intensity, and progress across producer networks.

• Producer-Controlled Data Sharing: Enables producers to determine when and with whom their emissions reports are shared, helping build trust while improving data availability.

• Interactive Mapping and Filtering: Filters emissions data by region, commodity, and producer cohort using an interactive map to reveal geographic and sector-specific trends.

• Forecast Emissions Reductions: Tracks forecast emissions reductions over time, allowing organizations to monitor progress toward sustainability objectives.

• Supply Chain Engagement Insights: Highlights producer participation, identifies where emissions baselines or reduction plans exist, and shows where additional engagement may be needed.

Ruminati was founded by Bobby Miller and Will Onus, multi-generational farmers from New South Wales, together with technical architect Peter Leihn. Having experienced first-hand the growing demand for agricultural emissions reporting, they developed software that reflects how farms actually operate rather than requiring producers to adapt to generic carbon accounting systems. This producer-led philosophy extends to Ruminati VISION, which focuses on supplying downstream organizations with emissions information sourced directly from farms instead of statistical estimates.

Ruminati VISION has been adopted by organizations across the agricultural value chain. A notable implementation is StockCo Australia, the livestock finance business of Heartland Group, which launched a two-year pilot using Ruminati to help producers track and validate on-farm climate action while giving StockCo better insight into clients' emissions profiles, climate risks, and emissions reduction strategies. The producer-controlled data-sharing model enables financial institutions and supply chain partners to access more representative Scope 3 information without compromising farmers' ownership of their data.
