Core Features
Prduct's approach centers on collecting product information closer to its source and maintaining it as structured supply chain data. The same supplier and product records can consequently support different regulatory requirements rather than requiring companies to repeatedly reconstruct their supply chains for individual compliance exercises. Some of its main capabilities include:
EUDR Product Identification: Scans product assortments to identify EUDR-relevant materials and commodities. Prduct says its system recognizes more than 1,250 relevant materials based on ingredient and material lists.
Due Diligence Statements: Automates DDS verification using supplier, origin and batch information and integrates with the EU's TRACES system for submissions.
Deforestation Risk Management: Assesses risks associated with suppliers, raw materials and products, with country benchmarking, risk mapping and workflows for documenting mitigation actions.
Geolocation & Traceability: Collects and validates supply-chain and geolocation information needed to trace EUDR commodities to their production origins, alongside batch and order documentation.
Digital Product Passports: Creates and manages DPP information covering areas such as product materials, manufacturing, repairability and recyclability, with data maintained for continued traceability and regulatory use.
Product Data Sharing: Makes structured DPP information available to stakeholders while maintaining an auditable data workflow. Prduct positions this underlying data infrastructure for reuse across requirements including DPP, EUDR, PPWR and REACH.
Closing Insights
Prduct was co-founded by Sven Philipsen and Stefan Overby Stamm, with Philipsen bringing experience in technology and product-data transparency. Its earlier work involved tackling data transparency and quality challenges with more than 80 global companies, including IKEA, Walmart, Orkla and Arla. That experience now informs Prduct's broader aim of creating a shared data infrastructure for value-chain collaboration, particularly as requirements such as EUDR and Digital Product Passports increase the amount of information companies need from suppliers.
Prduct also connects with globally used platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Shopify, Meta, Google Merchant Center and Icecat, alongside regional product-data systems including Denmark's ByggeBasen and Norway's Byggtjeneste/NOBB. These integrations allow product and supplier information to move between Prduct and companies' existing systems, strengthening its role as a common data layer for EUDR, Digital Product Passports and other product compliance requirements.
