IngSoft InterWatt originated from software developed by electrical engineer Karsten Reese, who founded IngSoft GmbH in 1997 after creating an energy controlling application as his university diploma project. The platform is presented in four editions—Light, Professional, Enterprise, and Enterprise CCF—allowing organizations to scale functionality according to their requirements. Subscription pricing starts at €2.49 per meter per month for the Light edition and extends to €3.99 per meter per month for Enterprise CCF, with optional modules such as Single Sign-On, CAFM integration, report design, branding, and field service available separately. The software supports both cloud and on-premises deployment, integrates with ERP and CAFM systems, and can be deployed as a multi-client or OEM solution for service providers.
