Closing Insights
CZERO emerged from Credera’s work advising large organizations on digital transformation and operational analytics. The consulting firm developed the application to address a recurring challenge in sustainability programs: companies could measure emissions but struggled to translate that data into operational change. By combining carbon accounting with workflow automation and case management technology, the platform was designed to connect emissions data directly to business processes and decision-making.
The software is built on Pega’s BPM and dynamic case-management framework, allowing organizations to track emissions within operational workflows and trigger actions that support reduction targets. This architecture makes CZERO particularly suited to enterprises with complex operational structures, where sustainability initiatives must be embedded into everyday processes rather than handled as separate reporting exercises. The platform has been used internally across the Omnicom Group network to centralize emissions data from more than 1,200 agencies worldwide, illustrating its suitability for large, distributed organizations.
