What’s Required
The Decree mandates:
development and implementation of sectoral mitigation plans;
monitoring of emissions trajectories and progress;
provision of emissions and activity data by regulated sectors;
alignment of public policy instruments with national climate targets.
Companies are required to comply where sectoral plans are incorporated into enforceable regulations, licences, or funding instruments.
