VELUX Group is a Danish building products company specializing in roof windows, skylights, modular skylights, daylight solutions, and related products designed to improve indoor environments. Founded in 1941 by Villum Kann Rasmussen, the company operates internationally, with sales activities across dozens of countries and manufacturing operations in multiple markets. VELUX is owned by VKR Holding A/S, which is controlled by the Villum Foundation and members of the Kann Rasmussen family. Sustainability priorities include reducing operational and value-chain greenhouse gas emissions, increasing the use of lower-carbon materials and renewable energy, and improving the environmental performance of buildings.
