Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, VANA A/S is a producer responsibility organisation (PRO) established to help businesses comply with Denmark's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements for packaging. The company was created by major Danish industry bodies, including Dansk Erhverv, DI (Confederation of Danish Industry), Landbrug & Fødevarer, and DagSam, and operates as a collective compliance scheme for producers and importers placing packaging on the Danish market. VANA coordinates the legal, financial, and practical obligations associated with packaging producer responsibility, while providing guidance on packaging design, regulatory compliance, and recycling requirements.
