United Way for Southeastern Michigan

United Way for Southeastern Michigan is a Detroit-based nonprofit working to improve household stability and access to opportunity in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. It brings together businesses, public agencies, nonprofit organizations and donors to address basic needs and longer-term community challenges. The current organization was established in 2005 through a merger, with regional roots dating to 1917.
