TPG Rise Climate

TPG Rise Climate is TPG's dedicated climate investment platform, providing capital to businesses and infrastructure supporting the transition towards a lower-carbon economy. Its investment strategies span private equity, transition infrastructure and investments targeting emerging and Global South markets. The platform focuses on areas including clean electricity, energy storage, low-carbon molecules and materials, industrial decarbonization and negative-emissions technologies. Its inaugural climate fund closed with $7.3 billion of commitments in 2022. TPG Rise Climate has supported Form Energy through multiple financing rounds, reflecting its strategy of investing in technologies capable of scaling emissions reductions while addressing major energy system requirements.
