Tongao Group

Tongao Group is a Chinese environmental and agricultural technology group focused on converting biomass residues into biochar, renewable energy, soil improvement products, and verified carbon removals. Its integrated operating platform covers biomass collection and preprocessing, carbonisation, energy recovery, biochar and fertiliser production, agricultural applications, digital monitoring and international carbon certification. The group reports processing more than 200,000 tonnes of biomass annually through a network that includes eight preprocessing facilities in Zhejiang and multiple affiliated companies. Its activities connect waste management with regenerative agriculture and carbon markets, allowing agricultural and forestry residues to be transformed into products and long-term carbon storage.
