The Taiwanese Ministry of Environment (MOENV)

The Ministry of Environment (MOENV) is Taiwan’s cabinet-level environmental authority, established in 2023 through the restructuring of the Environmental Protection Administration. Operating through a network of specialized agencies, the ministry plays a central role in Taiwan’s 2050 net-zero transition strategy, coordinating climate policy, industrial decarbonization, environmental regulation, and sustainability initiatives across government and industry.
