Snowflake is a US-based enterprise software company providing a cloud-native data platform used for data warehousing, analytics, application development, AI, and data sharing. Its Snowflake AI Data Cloud helps organisations consolidate data across business systems and public cloud environments, supporting use cases such as emissions reporting, supply chain visibility, financial modelling, and climate risk analysis. In the flood-risk project with Ordnance Survey, Snowflake’s platform was used to integrate geospatial, socioeconomic, and flood-risk datasets into an AI-enabled model for identifying vulnerable buildings. Snowflake is a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SNOW.
