Secretariat of Energy (SENER)

The Secretariat of Energy (Secretaría de Energía, SENER) is Mexico’s federal ministry responsible for energy policy formulation, planning and oversight. It defines national strategy across electricity, hydrocarbons, renewable energy and energy transition frameworks. SENER oversees sector coordination and supervises decentralized agencies and regulatory bodies within Mexico’s energy governance structure.
