Summary
The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, or SICT, is Mexico’s federal ministry responsible for infrastructure, communications and transport policy. Its 2025–2030 sector program describes SICT’s mission as promoting infrastructure in education, communications, air and land transport through public policies and programs that guarantee sustainable mobility and connectivity for people, goods and services. In the National Circular Economy System, SICT is relevant because transport, logistics, infrastructure, connectivity, and public works are central to circular value chains and material recovery systems.
