Summary
The Ministry of Public Education, or SEP, is Mexico’s federal education ministry. It was created by decree published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación on October 3, 1921. SEP’s official mission is to create conditions that ensure access to education of excellence with equity, universality and integrality. In the National Circular Economy System, SEP is relevant because circular economy implementation depends on education, training, public awareness, curricula, skills development and workforce preparation.
