ResponsibleGlass is a UK-based, multi-stakeholder non-profit organisation developing an international sustainability standard and certification system for the global glass industry. It brings together glass manufacturers, raw material suppliers, industrial buyers, technical specialists and civil society organisations. Its framework is intended to address greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency, recycling, biodiversity, water management, human rights, worker safety, business ethics and responsible sourcing across the glass value chain. The organisation also aims to provide independently verified information that helps businesses procure lower-impact and responsibly produced glass.
