REDcert GmbH

REDcert GmbH is a sustainability certification organization founded in 2010 by associations and stakeholders from the German agricultural and biofuel sectors. Headquartered in Bonn, the organization develops certification systems tied to the European Union’s renewable energy and sustainability regulations for biomass and biofuels. Its REDcert-EU and REDcert² schemes are used for certifying sustainable biomass, biomethane, biofuels, recycled carbon fuels, and bio-based materials used in different industries.
