Proparco

Proparco is a development finance institution supporting private sector activity in developing countries and emerging economies. It provides financing and technical assistance to companies and financial institutions, with objectives covering sustainable development, climate action, and social inclusion. As part of the Agence Française de Développement Group, Proparco uses investment to support businesses and projects that contribute to development priorities. Its natural capital activities include financing approaches that combine climate and biodiversity benefits. Proparco supports Mirova Sustainable Land Fund 2, which targets sustainable forestry, agroforestry, and regenerative agriculture, alongside improvements in rural livelihoods and the resilience of agricultural value chains.
