PackUK

PackUK is the scheme administrator for the United Kingdom’s Extended Producer Responsibility for packaging (pEPR) programme, operating on behalf of the four UK nations. Established as part of the UK’s packaging reforms and formally launched in 2025, it functions as a government-hosted body under Defra, with responsibility for implementing the regulatory framework. PackUK manages producer obligations by setting and collecting fees, distributing payments to local authorities, and overseeing data reporting and compliance processes.
