Michelin Group is a French multinational manufacturer specialising in tyres, engineered materials, polymer composites and mobility-related products and services. Founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 1889 by brothers André and Édouard Michelin, the group has expanded from tyre manufacturing into advanced composites, connected mobility solutions and travel experiences. Michelin operates a global manufacturing footprint and supplies products for passenger vehicles, commercial transport, aviation, agriculture, mining and other industrial applications. Sustainability forms part of the group’s long-term strategy, including efforts to increase the use of renewable and recycled materials, improve tyre resource efficiency and develop circular material systems. Michelin is also the parent group of Fenner Conveyors through its industrial activities.
