Macquarie Group is a global financial services company providing asset management, banking, wealth management, advisory, commodities and capital solutions. Its predecessor, Hill Samuel Australia, began operations in Sydney in 1969. Macquarie operates internationally across infrastructure, energy, commodities, financial markets and investment management. Through its different businesses, the group has significant exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure and energy transition investments. Macquarie Group is publicly listed in Australia and is also among the investors in environmental markets infrastructure provider Xpansiv.
