Innovate UK

Innovate UK is the UK's national innovation agency and forms part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). It provides funding, partnerships and business support to companies developing new technologies, products and services. Its programmes cover sectors including manufacturing, clean technologies, materials and resource efficiency. Innovate UK funded the ACT project that preceded The Circuit and explored the infrastructure required to expand automated textile sorting and circular textile systems in the UK.
