Government of Greece

The Government of Greece is the executive authority of the Hellenic Republic, responsible for implementing laws, directing national policy, and managing public administration. It operates within a parliamentary republic in which the Prime Minister holds executive power and must retain the confidence of the Hellenic Parliament. The Government is formed by the Ministerial Council, composed of ministers and deputy ministers, and functions under the Constitution of 1975, which defines its structure and powers.
