Fyffes

Fyffes is a tropical fruit company that grows, sources, ripens and markets bananas and pineapples. It works with its own farms and independent growers, supplying customers in Europe and North America. Its business spans fruit production, packing, distribution and ripening, making both farming practices and supply chain operations relevant to its environmental impact. Fyffes has been part of Sumitomo Corporation since 2017. The company’s 2025–2035 sustainability strategy addresses greenhouse gas emissions, regenerative agriculture, packaging, food loss, human rights and community wellbeing. It aims to extend regenerative agriculture practices across 13,000 hectares of banana and pineapple production by 2035. Fyffes has also set targets for gender parity in senior leadership and at least 30% female representation in operational supervisory roles across its own business by 2035.
