Summary
The FAIRR Initiative is a global investor network focused on identifying environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities across the food system, particularly those associated with intensive animal agriculture. Established in 2015 by the Jeremy Coller Foundation, FAIRR provides institutional investors with research, data, benchmarking tools and collaborative engagement programmes covering issues including climate change, water scarcity, biodiversity, pollution, antimicrobial resistance and labour practices. Its network includes more than 400 investor members representing over $95 trillion in assets. FAIRR also engages with companies and policymakers to encourage more resilient and sustainable food systems.
