Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI)

The Ethical Trading Initiative is a UK-based nonprofit organization bringing together companies, trade unions and civil society organizations to improve working conditions and labor rights in global supply chains. Established in 1998, ETI develops guidance, facilitates collaboration between members and promotes responsible purchasing and supply-chain practices. It is also responsible for the ETI Base Code, a widely referenced labor framework based on international labor standards.
