Climate Action 100+

Climate Action 100+ is an investor-led initiative that brings together institutional investors to engage the world’s largest greenhouse gas–emitting companies on climate change. Launched in 2017 by a group of regional investor networks, it operates as a voluntary coalition with hundreds of signatories across global markets. Its structure centres on collaborative engagement, where investors coordinate efforts to influence corporate governance, emissions reduction, and climate-related disclosures. The initiative is overseen by a steering committee and implemented through investor networks, positioning it as a coordination mechanism rather than a regulatory or service-providing entity.
