Building and Construction Authority (BCA)

The Building and Construction Authority, or BCA, is a Singapore statutory board responsible for developing and regulating the country's built environment. Operating under the Ministry of National Development, BCA oversees areas including building safety, construction quality, sustainability, productivity, and industry transformation. Its sustainability work includes building energy efficiency requirements, the Green Mark certification framework, regulatory standards, and programs encouraging the adoption of lower-energy building technologies and retrofits.
