Summary
Bass Coast Landcare Network is an Australian nonprofit environmental organization formed in 2003 as an affiliation of local Landcare groups in Victoria's Bass Coast region. It supports sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, revegetation, pest management, ecosystem restoration and community environmental programs. The network works with farmers, communities, researchers and government bodies to promote resilient landscapes and sustainable land management. BCLN is partnering with RMIT University and Melbourne Water on trials assessing whether floating wetlands installed in farm dams can improve water quality and biodiversity while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
