Aéma Groupe

Aéma Groupe is a French mutual insurance group established in January 2021 through the combination of Macif and AÉSIO mutuelle. Its activities cover property and casualty insurance, health and personal protection, savings, retirement and asset management. The group brings together several businesses under a mutual governance model, including Macif, AÉSIO mutuelle, Abeille Assurances and Ofi Invest. The acquisition of Aviva France, subsequently renamed Abeille Assurances, expanded the group’s insurance and savings activities in 2021. In 2022, Aéma established Ofi Invest as its asset management division, bringing together investment management activities from across the group. Aéma Groupe’s connection to the Mirova article is through Abeille Assurances, which participated in the initial investor coalition supporting Mirova Sustainable Land Fund 2. The investment should be attributed to Abeille Assurances, while Aéma Groupe provides the parent-group context.
