Abeille Assurances

Abeille Assurances is a French insurance business offering insurance, protection, savings and retirement products. Its customers include individuals, farmers, professionals and businesses, served through agents, financial advisers, brokers and other distribution channels. The business traces its origins to L’Abeille Bourguignonne, established in 1856 by farmers and winegrowers seeking protection against hail and severe weather. Formerly operating as Aviva France, it joined Aéma Groupe in 2021 and adopted the Abeille Assurances name in 2022. It was among the institutional investors in the initial coalition supporting Mirova Sustainable Land Fund 2.
