Overview

The Global CCS Institute is set to host the CCS Capacity Building Workshop in Poland on September 30, 2026. This workshop aims to gather key stakeholders to discuss the current landscape of carbon capture and storage (CCS) in Poland. Participants will explore successful business cases from regions actively developing CCS projects, as well as examine funding mechanisms and the challenges faced by local emitters.

Objectives

Developed in collaboration with the CCUS Poland Association, the workshop seeks to promote and advance the Polish CCS roadmap. It will provide practical solutions to support the local CCS ecosystem, fostering collaboration among industry leaders and policymakers.
