Overview

The Boston Climatetech Summit 2026 is centred on what Greentown describes as the emerging “deployment economy”: addressing the financing, permitting, customer adoption and other challenges involved in installing climate technologies at scale. Participants will be able to hear from industry leaders, connect with Greentown’s startup community and explore technologies being developed across major emitting sectors.

The programme includes discussions and startup activity covering areas such as:

  • Climatetech commercialisation and deployment

  • Technology buyers and startup sales

  • Financing and investment

  • Electricity and energy technologies

  • Buildings and manufacturing

  • Agriculture and transportation

  • Climate resilience and adaptation

The morning programme features keynotes and discussions, including a market briefing on climatetech commercialisation and sessions examining how technology buyers evaluate and deploy new solutions. In the afternoon, a Startup Showcase will give attendees an opportunity to meet Greentown entrepreneurs and explore their technologies, followed by a networking reception.

Attendance

The summit offers full-day in-person admission ($250), an afternoon-only pass ($75) covering the Startup Showcase and networking reception, and virtual admission (free). Greentown members and partners receive complimentary access. The event is particularly relevant to entrepreneurs, investors, corporate technology buyers, utilities, policymakers, researchers and others involved in scaling climate and energy technologies.
