Conference Focus
The IEW provides an opportunity for scholars and researchers to compare modeling tools, discuss advancements in modeling for emerging energy sector issues, and observe new trends within the global energy landscape. The Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG) at the University of Cape Town, which organizes the event, integrates energy and economic system modeling with policy analysis and field-based research, focusing on South Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
